Four Decades. Every Channel. One Mission.
From a Chicago radio station in 1986 to AI-powered marketing in 2025 — this is the story of someone who has been at the forefront of every major shift in marketing for over 35 years.
Janet Galati didn't ease into the marketing world — she walked into one of the most competitive media markets in the country and immediately made her mark. As an intern at B96 (WBBM-FM) in Chicago, she didn't fetch coffee. She built the station's public affairs and community outreach program from the ground up.
The civic interview scheduling system she designed coordinated more than 50 Chicagoland mayors and arranged on-air appearances with some of the most recognizable names in the city — Jesse Jackson, Mayor Harold Washington, and Mike Ditka. The system she created was so effective, so well-built, that WBBM-FM kept it running for nearly 10 years after she left.
That's not an internship. That's a legacy.
After radio, Janet moved into the newspaper and shopper publication industry — and immediately set records that still haven't been broken. During a single Christmas campaign, she personally signed 200 local businesses to participate in a stuffed animal giveaway promotion. The entire rest of the sales team combined didn't reach 200.
That wasn't a fluke. It was a pattern. Janet has always found a way to outperform the room — not by working harder than everyone else, but by understanding people, building relationships, and delivering results that speak for themselves.
During these years, Janet also became deeply embedded in the communities she served. She served as a Director on the Round Lake Area Chamber of Commerce for 10 years and on the Lake Villa/Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce for 5 years. She was part of the founding team that launched the Round Lake Area Beach Fest — a community festival that continues to run more than 25 years after its inaugural years. And she served as Director in charge of the Round Lake Area Home & Trade Fair for 12 years, growing it into an annual event that drew 1,000+ attendees and 75–100 exhibitors.
In 2004, Janet founded JG Marketing Solutions and opened her Money Mailer franchise — operating as JG Marketing Solutions DBA Money Mailer. From day one, she set the bar higher than anyone else in the system.
In a single mailing envelope, Janet placed 132 ads. That number has never been beaten in the history of the Money Mailer franchise. Not once. Not by anyone. In 2017, she was named Franchisee of the Year — the highest individual honor in the Money Mailer system, awarded to the top franchisee out of hundreds nationwide. She was also named to the President's Club six times.
Six consumer marketing awards. Five business marketing awards. Eleven industry recognitions that reflect not just sales performance, but the quality and effectiveness of the marketing she produced for her clients.
In 2020, Janet expanded her agency's capabilities by adding Valpak — one of the nation's largest direct mail franchise networks — to her portfolio. True to form, she didn't just participate. She earned her way into the Valpak President's Club twice in four years.
Today, Janet still sells Valpak alongside Money Mailer, all under the JG Marketing Solutions umbrella. That means her clients have access to two of the biggest direct mail networks in the country through a single trusted relationship.
Today, JG Marketing Solutions is the full expression of everything Janet has built over four decades. Money Mailer. Valpak. Social media management. Email and SMS marketing. Print and branded materials. Sponsorship coordination. And now — AI.
When AI emerged as the next transformation in marketing, Janet didn't wait to see what happened. She got certified in more than 30 AI tools and platforms, from ChatGPT and Claude to Midjourney, Canva AI, CapCut, and beyond. She was AI-certified before most of her competitors even knew what a prompt was.
JG Marketing Solutions was built on 35+ years of hard-won knowledge — every channel, every platform, every area of marketing. Janet brings that full depth to every client she works with. The tools have changed. The mission hasn't: get you in front of the right people, at the right time, with the right message.
